Booking Conditions

No booking contract will exist, and your booking is not confirmed until we have received your agreed deposit payment and accepted Terms & Conditions. Once done, you will receive a booking confirmation email from us.

Upon booking, you will need to pay either:

1) a 25% deposit if booking more than 8-weeks (56 days) before the retreat start date; or
2) a 100% full payment if booking less than 2-weeks (14 days) before the retreat start date.

If we hold a space for you, you will have 48 hours to pay your deposit or full payment in order to secure the booking. Should payment not be received within this time, we have the right to re-release your space for other guests to book.

All spaces and events must be paid in full 2 – weeks (14 days) prior to the retreat start date. You will be notified of this due payment at the time. We reserve the right to cancel your space on retreat should we not receive the full payment within these terms and no refund will be provided. In case of cancellation, non-payment, non-arrival or an early departure on retreat, no refund will be provided for any money paid.

Insurance

Guests must have their own travel insurance to join a retreat with us which will cover them in the event that they are unable to attend due to illness, bereavement or any other personal reason.

We strongly recommend all guests take out the necessary travel insurance at the time of making their booking.

Retreat Cancellation by You

As mentioned under Insurance, guest must have their own travel insurance which will cover them in the event that they are unable to attend due to illness, bereavement or any other personal reason.

Though our spaces are limited we always endeavour to treat cancellations sympathetically.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us within 14 days of the event start date. If you do not provide us with any notice of cancellation and do not attend the retreat, you remain liable for 100% of the booking fee.

Soul Adventures does not offer cash, credit / debit card or bank transfer refunds for any reason.

Should you wish to receive a refund for your booking, this will need to be done via your travel insurance. We can assist by providing any necessary paperwork for your claim.

Should you need to cancel, you will be able to transfer your booking to another date.

Should you need to cancel and we are able to resell your booked space, a credit will be provided as per our cancellation fees below, which can be used for another retreat within one year of your original retreat date. A small admin fee will also be charged for reselling your space and moving your booking.

Depending on if we are able to resell your space and when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule:

  1. If you cancel more than 14 days before your retreat start date, 100% of
    your payment may be applied to another Soul Adventures retreat within
    one year of your original retreat start date.
  2. If you cancel outside of the 14 days before your retreat/event is due to
    start, you will forfeit your 25% non refundable deposit, plus a further 25%
    of your final payment (totalling 50%), the remaining 50% will be
    refunded.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer a credit for arriving late or leaving early.

Retreat Cancellation by Us

We have never cancelled a retreat for any reason within our control but reserve the right in certain circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid within 5 working days.

Retreat Conditions

You shall refrain from any illegal activities or any behaviour that will be offensive or cause harm to another guest or staff member.

You shall ensure that you are medically, mentally and physically fit to take part in the retreat and to make use of any of the facilities on retreat. Should you have any illnesses or injuries, it is advised to seek medical advice prior to joining us.

Should there be a breach of any of the above retreat conditions, we reserve the right to request you to leave on your own accord or to remove you from the retreat venue.

Changes of Schedule

We reserve the right to slightly change the advertised schedule should it be deemed necessary for us to do so. This may be due to poor weather conditions.

Disclaimer

Soul Adventures does not accept any liability for theft or damage to personal possessions; personal injuries or medical conditions that develop during or after the retreat. Soul Adventures is also not liable for any costs, cancellations or charges incurred as a result of fire, natural disaster, problems with transport, passport, visa or vaccination issues or any other events beyond our control.

Advisory Note

I understand that participating in a Soul Adventures retreat is entirely at my own risk. I understand my own body’s challenges and take full responsibility for my own practice.
